Abstract

This analysis consists of developing a global vision of the 12 pillars of competitiveness, describing in a pertinent way each of these pillars that affect the competitiveness of the countries with their best economies worldwide and identifying what each one measures, the description is important because contributes to the analysis that is the reason for this work. The analysis of each country in the Top 10 is pertinent, the objective is to assess based on the 12 pillars on which competitiveness is based, what has been the performance of each country, identify the aspects and incidences of these 12 pillars in their economies that make them competitive. In addition to this analysis, it is necessary to deepen the study to recognize the basis of the success of these countries in the 4th Industrial Revolution, by including as tools to be better the meta concepts Human Capital, Innovation, Resilience and Agility, these being aspects that are considered in the source document The Global Competitiveness Index 4.0 2018
