Process Automation in Industry 4.0

Abstract

The  great  technological  advances  that  mankind  has  made,  have  resulted  in  companies  adjusting  their  standards  to  assure  costumers  needs,  one  of  this  is  the  automation  of  processes  in  industry, which is based on the application of machinery and technical equipment, which can operate autonomously various production processes, selection and control, avoiding the least possible manual involvement. The objective of this study is for determine the importance of the automation at industrial processes  aimed  at  the  fundamental  concept  of  efficiency.  The  research  methodology  is  a  literature  review using electronic media, such as Google Scholar, HighBeam Research, Redalyc, Dialnet among others. It will be analyzed all the points that are considered important in the field related to industrial process and their impact. In conclusion, the research presented aims to show a new vision that comes hand in hand with the increase of competition at the actual market that has the purpose of producing better quality products at a lower price.
