Analysis of the Internal Processes of Primary Care for Patients at the Veris Kennedy Medical Center

Abstract
For the development of the research, a study of the internal processes related to patient care was carried out at the Veris Kennedy Medical Center in the city of Guayaquil. The study presented shows the deficit in the patient care processes, which leads to low satisfaction and the low percentage of patients who are admitted for medical care services. The research approach is mixed since interviews with patients and medical personnel were carried out, a nonprobabilistic sampling was applied to patients from the Obstetrics area, which aims to identify which are the critical points that hinder the process in patient care.
