Abstract
The University-Business link is based on determining the professional problems in accordance with the occupational profile, which is materialized in the development of the students' work practice. The article is the result of a qualitative research carried out over five years. It offers results achieved by the courses with the entities in both production and services, in the training of the professional and local development, being possible through the analysis, triangulation and thorough systematization of theoretical research sources that allowed drawing inferences and going deeper into the organization and planning of the activities. The responsibility that the entities and organizations have in the training of a competent professional in alliance with the universities is made evident.
