The present article has as objective the elaboration of a methodology for the development of psycho-pedagogical professional abilities in the students of the career Pedagogy - Psychology that facilitates the attention to the local development as content of its orientating function from the subject Community Orientation. Their importance resides by current problem is approached in which is connoted the orientating function of the psycho- pedagogue and its
incidence in the local development of the community such as context of its professional performance that acquires in this future professional special shades in correspondence with its social responsibility linked with the educational orientation, the psycho-pedagogical consultant ship, the direction of the process of teaching-learning of the pedagogical and psychological disciplines and the educational investigation in the contexts where it develops its professional work.
