Community prevention of violence and harmful leisure forms: intervention program from popular education

Abstract
The present article is derived of the results of the investigation project "social Studies on the youth santiaguera", developed by the department of Sociology of the University of East of Santiago from Cuba, in the communities Micro 9, Mariana Grajales, Flores and Chicharrones. Their objective is the design of an intervention proposal for the community prevention of problematic as the violence, and the noxious leisure forms that affect the youth santiaguera. For their conception one kept in mind the methodology of the Popular Education that becomes a pertinent tool for the
transformation of this problems in the analyzed context for their reflexive character and participativo. With the result that the program conforms to, following the steps or moments that define this methodology, that which propitiated the exchange and the collective construction.
