Main Article Content
Abstract
Learning strategies, particularly metacognitive ones, are an effective way to enhance the activation
and regulation of learning that develops professional content. In the current hybrid model of the Cuban
university, its development is essential to promote the self-management of knowledge by the student, who must consciously assume responsibility for their learning, taking into account their potential, motivations and interests. In the present work, the experiences and results of the application of a strategy for the orientation of metacognitive learning strategies from the pedagogical group of the first year in the Pedagogy Psychology career are exposed, taking into account the demands of the hybrid model. To carry out the research, theoretical and empirical methods were used that made it possible to identify the insufficiencies around the teaching- learning process in this new training model, as well as the proposal that is offered for its implementation in the career, taking into account its potential to favor the development of metacognitive learning strategies.
