The present investigation faces a problem related to the treatment of oral language development in Early
Childhood. Derived from insufficiencies such as: low level in basic vocabulary, lack of coherence and
coordination of ideas, as well as the use of isolated words that do not make up a short sentence, causing
contradiction between the development of oral language of second-year children of life in correspondence with the chronological age and the basic objectives of the year and the developmental achievements for these ages. The selected theme has as its starting point, at first, the factual observation of the
communicative relationships of children, conceived from the communicational progress - chronological
age relationship. From a case study, a set of intervention actions are incorporated to address the delay in
the development of oral language of an infant in the second year of life room of the XX Aniversario Children's Circle, through the search for information and experiential relationships that condition limitations
in oral language. The author's experience as an educator motivated the realization of this study to give
timely treatment to language delay. The results obtained were based on the use of the case study as a
scientific method and investigative techniques such as: empirical methods and the descriptive method.
