Information Management and Expert Criterion in Higher Education in Cuba

Abstract

For some years now, in circles of scientific debate between researchers from different sciences, both natural and exact, as well as social and humanistic, aspects related to the knowledge society, information management, scientific research and the importance and feasibility of use the criteria of experts in research as a support tool to validate the results. These issues are presented as an essential future trend to face the challenges of scientific and technological development. The foregoing imposes challenging challenges on Cuban universities, which must continually ensure that they respond to social demands regarding the training of professionals. The article that is presented analyzes the need to strengthen the management of information and the criteria of experts as tools for educational and investigative work in the universities of our country. The methodology used starts from the synthetic analytical until reaching the process from the general to the particular, highlighting the logical historical contexts at each moment. Hermeneutics contributed to this to carry out the interpretation of the texts used.
