The Inclusion of People with Disabilities in Ecuadorian Education

Abstract
Recognizing the importance of the inclusion of people with special capacities and the complexities that this process entails, this article addresses different aspects of inclusion, this time with a greater emphasis on the situations faced by teachers with disabilities, an aspect that Is not always focused on the analysis of this important issue.
For this reason, the aim of this article is to reveal some of the particularities of inclusion in the case of teachers with disabilities, who face multiple barriers to the better development of their activities. In overcoming these barriers, the contribution and willingness of the authorities of each institution and of colleagues is decisive, without whose support inclusion would be no more than a utopia.
