Abstract

The difficulties in learning Object Oriented Programming are evident in Telecommunications and Electronics Engineering students at Oriente University. Concepts such as abstraction, inheritance, polymorphism, characteristic of this paradigm, become difficult to assimilate for the students who take the Programming I and II subjects. With the aim of solving this problem and taking into account the need to motivate students through in the programming study, a tutorial type tool based on Information and Communication Technologies was developed. It aims to facilitate and support the teaching-learning process of the object-oriented paradigm using the C ++ language. In the present article, the characteristics of this tutorial and its advantages from the didactic point of view are exposed, which were verified after its application.
