Número especial de la Revista de Investigación, Formación y Desarrollo: Generando Productividad Institucional (RIF) que reúne las memorias académicas presentadas en el Encuentro Académico-Científico de Enfermería, realizado en conmemoración del Día Internacional de la Enfermería. Esta publicación compila conferencias magistrales y trabajos académicos relacionados con la práctica profesional, la atención primaria, la bioética, la innovación educativa y los desafíos contemporáneos de la enfermería.

Esta nueva edición de la Revista de Investigación, Formación y Desarrollo (RIF), correspondiente al primer número de 2026, consolida su relevancia científica al presentar un riguroso análisis multidisciplinario que aborda desafíos contemporáneos críticos, abarcando desde la eficiencia financiera y el impacto de las reformas tributarias en Ecuador, hasta avances técnicos en la producción de biodiesel, la optimización de procesos de acreditación en institutos tecnológicos, la gestión de riesgos basada en estándares PMBOK y el análisis del neuromarketing en el comportamiento del consumidor digital. Este volumen se distingue particularmente por su robusta vocación colaborativa y alcance internacional, integrando una red académica diversa que articula las capacidades investigativas de un amplio conjunto de universidades e institutos de educación superior ecuatorianos, tales como la Universidad Nacional de Loja, la Universidad Indoamérica, la Universidad Estatal Península de Santa Elena, la Universidad Bolivariana del Ecuador, la Universidad Laica Eloy Alfaro de Manabí, la Universidad Agraria del Ecuador y diversos Institutos Superiores Tecnológicos, con la invaluable participación académica y científica de la Universidad Católica Andrés Bello de Venezuela y la Universidad César Vallejo de Perú. Este nuevo número de la Revista de Investigación, Formación y Desarrollo: Generando Productividad Institucional se consolida como un espacio de convergencia intelectual donde la transdisciplinariedad actúa como el eje motor del progreso institucional y social. A través de una cuidada selección de artículos, la edición explora las fronteras de la innovación tecnológica, iniciando con el análisis del desarrollo empresarial en la era de la Industria 4.0 y la integración estratégica de la Inteligencia Artificial Generativa en la formación técnica, herramientas fundamentales para la competitividad moderna. En el ámbito de la salud, se profundiza en la humanización y el rigor técnico de los cuidados de enfermería en pacientes con insuficiencia renal crónica bajo diálisis peritoneal, mientras que el sector público encuentra eco en el estudio sobre la gestión y preservación documental en el Ministerio de Agricultura y Ganadería de Manabí. La responsabilidad ética y social se manifiesta en propuestas pedagógicas que transforman a los niños en "pequeños guardianes del planeta", integrando la educación ambiental desde la primaria, y se complementa con una reflexión profunda sobre los fundamentos filosóficos de la investigación y los pilares lingüísticos y axiológicos de la educación inclusiva. Finalmente, la revista no rehúye el debate político-jurídico contemporáneo, analizando la viabilidad de la reforma judicial bajo la sugerente premisa de "la democracia en la toga". En conjunto, este volumen ofrece una visión holística que vincula la ciencia, la ética educativa, la eficiencia administrativa y el derecho, reafirmando nuestro compromiso de generar conocimiento útil que impulse la productividad y el bienestar integral de la sociedad

The articles presented delve into how academic institutions can respond to these requirements, promoting institutional productivity through research, continuous training, and the development of new methodologies. The topics addressed reflect the journal's commitment to educational innovation and the creation of a culture of critical analysis within learning contexts worldwide.

In a world marked by technological transformation, ecological challenges, and the urgent need for pedagogical innovations, scientific knowledge must be more accessible, contextualized, and transversal. From this perspective, this interdisciplinary scientific journal presents itself as a meeting place for researchers, teachers, professionals, and students who address complex problems from multiple fields of knowledge. This issue brings together original contributions from Latin America, with an emphasis on educational, social, technological, and business contexts, oriented toward critical analysis, applied innovation, and social transformation.


This edition offers a compendium of articles that articulate diverse disciplines—such as economics, technology, pedagogy, occupational mental health, communication, environmental education, and artificial intelligence—in dialogue with contemporary realities.


In the economic and business sphere, proposals are addressed to optimize access to credit for Ecuadorian MSMEs through the design of financial indicator models, as well as the role of digital marketing in positioning the retail sector. In the field of education, innovative experiences are explored, such as the development of communication skills for early childhood teachers, the STEAM approach in island regions of Chile, and the implementation of mathematical problems with ecological content for citizenship education.


From a technological and educational perspective, the ethical and strategic use of artificial intelligence in both teacher planning and constructivist learning is analyzed, highlighting its implications for educational quality, pedagogical autonomy, and digital equity.


Furthermore, emerging topics of global relevance are examined, such as the integration of artificial intelligence in dual-use training, the ethical dilemmas of curricular automation, and occupational mental health from a comparative perspective. Environmental education, for its part, is treated as a key tool for sustainability from a curricular and training perspective, with an emphasis on interdisciplinarity.


This diversity of approaches and methodologies—quantitative, qualitative, mixed, and documentary—reflects the inclusive, critical, and proactive nature of this publication, aimed at stimulating the production of rigorous knowledge committed to the challenges of the 21st century.
