Importance of Inventory Management in Companies

Abstract
The management of inventories within companies plays a very important role, because its use allows to identify the loss of raw materials, which is a vulnerable segment in some of them. Currently some companies do not manage the corresponding inventory, so there is a loss of resources due to the lack of systematic control. The objective of this article is to carry out an analysis on the management of inventories from the perspective of various authors and what the international regulations state, emphasizing the application of the FIFO method as one of the options for the management of inventories in companies.
