Abstract
The purpose of this article is to explicitly analyze the objectives of branding and its functions. In addition to accentuating the difference in misconceptions on the part of consumers, it is intended to emphasize the importance of branding in Ecuadorian entrepreneurship when using these strategies and the result when applying them. It is for this reason that during the development of this research, an attempt is made to encourage professionals in the area of design and marketing to use the management of a brand effectively, which produces a significant change in the way that Ecuadorian entrepreneurship is conceived. And stop conceptualizing branding as a form of advertising, turning its meaning into effective processes and strategy development in order to keep a brand in the minds of consumers, achieving their loyalty
