Digital Transformation for Entrepreneurship in the Ecuadorian Context

Abstract
The confinement and mandatory closure of businesses in Ecuador during 2020, caused by the Covid 19 pandemic, caused many companies to go bankrupt because they could not obtain income from their sales, however, it was also the trigger that other businesses needed to accelerate their adaptation technology to the environment, through business digital transformation. The present work is oriented to give guidelines so that the enterprises of Ecuador can live this transformation in a practical way. This study addresses some key success factors for digital transformation in a startup, and details how to apply them in the context of a small business.
