Business Plan for the Creation of a Microenterprise Dedicated to the Collection and Disposal of Solid Waste to International Merchant Ships that arrive in Ports of the City of Guayaquil

Abstract

The motivation that led to the idea of creating the micro-company “Complementary Services for Buques SERCOMBUQ Cía. Ltda. ”, Arises from the results that show the existence of an unsatisfied demand, given the little development of companies that can meet the need of merchant ships and crew to receive a service that is consistent with their quality requirements, in addition to a previous analysis of the historical, theoretical and legal references that strengthen and enable the execution of the business. The research was carried out through a mixed approach (qualitative-quantitative) through observation, survey and interview, techniques that were applied randomly to merchant ship officers and the representative of a shipping agency. Finally, the proposal contains the description, investment, financing and elaboration of new processes and strategies that will allow to generate changes, transformations on the business line so that it can be profitable and competitive.
