Abstract

When factors such as confinement and continuous business progress come together, the perfect environment is created for the expansion of commercial activities, but around a digital context; That is why this article aims to analyze the factors that are necessary to potentiate the digital transformation in companies in Zone 8 of Ecuador as a result of the covid-19 pandemic. An inductive-deductive methodology was carried out, the instrument was the surveys, and it was applied to 61 administration students from the University of Guayaquil with businesses to determine the critical points that companies must face to achieve a digital transformation, resulting in distrust, competition, portability, among others.
