Abstract

The objective of this research is to reflect on the incedence of the labor preparation in adolescents with
intellectual disability. The use of the applied methods permitted to analyze the essential features as well
as the theoretical foundations of this process, they also revealed as main insufficiency that the treachers
do not orient tasks in order to involve the adolescent in the activities since they do not posses the sufficient didactic tools. The adolescents have limitations to offer information about themselves and their environment and also they are not able to reflect about the utility and social significance of their way of acting As result a pedagogical model is proposed to develop the student ́s protagonism taking into account the following components:teaching, socio-community and labor as well as the principle of the formativeand developmental character as facilitator of the protagonic participation of the adolescents with intellectual disability.
