The identity. A need in technical education for socioeconomic development

Abstract
The present article arises starting from the necessity of fortifying the technical careers in the professional identity for the commitment and socioeconomic development of the country. Theoretical aspects related to the process of the initial formation and the professional identity are revealed towards the technical careers of pedagogic profile. He/she intends as objective a program of optional subject that contributes from the content to potencies the professional identity of the students of the Electric career. Theoretical and
empirical methods were used to corroborate the truthfulness of the information and to elaborate the
optional program. Result hurt that it continues being insufficient the strategies among the technique skills
with pedagogic profile and the pre-university, 45% of the students exposes that they didn't know that those
careers were to exercise as teachers; which denotes the insufficient orientation work so that they are identified with sense of ownership for the continuity of the teaching. The revision of the document's rectors gave sample of the uncertainty in the entrance in the pedagogic careers. Conclusions the technical teaching has to rehabilitate its professional identity as teaching in charge of the productive and economic development of the country.
