Abstract

The quality of teaching, scientific and research work is increasingly recognized as a distinctive feature of the development of the teaching community in higher education and is considered a key factor to increase the competitiveness and excellence of this educational level. Therefore, the challenge presented to the university of the 21st century, in particular the Instituto Superior Technologic the Formation Professional Administrative and Commercial (ITFPAC) in Ecuador is high, if one takes into account that it must face the new social, professional demands and scientists of postmodernity. A quality index that accounts for what is expressed is academic performance and terminal efficiency. In this regard, the degree work carried out by the Instituto Superior Technologic the Formation Professional Administrative and Commercial (ITFPAC) it is vital to respond to this demand. In correspondence with the above, an analysis of the last three years was carried out to assess the behavior of the degree work carried out by the students, revealing that the professional competencies of the teachers had a direct impact on raising the terminal efficiency of the institution, which contributed to the success of the evaluation and accreditation process.

Rectora del Instituto Superior Tecnológico de Formación Profesional Administrativa y Comercial, Ingeniera Comercial graduada de la Universidad de Guayaquil, posee un Diplomado Superior en Currículo por Competencias de la Universidad Técnica de Ambato, Magister en Gerencia Educativa de la Universidad Metropolitana y Doctora en Ciencias de la Gestión por la International Caribbean University de Curazao, Doctora en Ciencia Pedagógicas por la Universidad de Oriente de Santiago de Cuba, acreditado para realizar actividades de investigación en el Ecuador No. REG-INV-15-00912 (Registro Nacional de Investigadores), miembro de la red de investigación internacional RED-DEES, evaluadora externa de la revista internacional (Investigación, Formación y desarrollo: generando productividad intucional) ubicada en catalogo LATINDEX.

Ponente en numerosos congresos nacionales e internacionales, autora de más de veinte artículos científicos, en los que sobresale: “La formación investigativa del docente de los institutos tecnológicos”, “Las competencias investigativas para el proceso de aprendizaje organizacional como una acción del proyecto institucional del Instituto Superior Tecnológico Bolivariano. Durante su trayectoria profesional ha recibido reconocimientos importantes por parte de prestigiosas instituciones como la Universidad de Ciencias Pedagógicas “Frank País García de Cuba”, Universidad Estatal de Milagro, Ecuador y la Universidad de Guanajuato.
