Racial Identity as Educational Problem. Looks of the Cuban Intellectuals Fernando Ortiz and Gustavo Urrutia

The racial phenomenon in Cuba has its roots in the colonization, it was in fact the racism and the conviction of the racial superiority what sustained ideologically to the pro-slavery régime, (Alvarado J, 1996, p.37), nevertheless, it is considered that, in the successive thing, the abolition of the slavery was not enough to eliminate what was accentuated like ideological and cultural base of the Cuban nation. To know the historicity of these events, through two big Cuban intellectuals of the XX century as Fernando Ortiz and Gustavo Urrutia, constitutes an educational problem. The authors meditate the racial identity is valued in Fernando Ortiz and Gustavo Urrutia about how, problem related to the racial identity in its to become historical as educational problem.
