The professional development of teachers and their link to the training of future teachers

Abstract
The need for teachers to employ the most advanced techniques and theoretical foundations of pedagogy in their work, with a high scientific and methodological preparation in their discipline and an adequate updating of their knowledge, constitutes one of the priorities of the Ministry of Education. Professional development is aimed at improving the activity that each teacher develops in order to raise his or her level. The insufficiencies in the development of professional development, which allows the integration of the academic, work and research components, constitute one of the problems of the center. This is precisely the center of analysis of our research, whose content emphasizes the needs that still persist. In the research, empirical and theoretical methods were applied (survey, analysis-synthesis, systemic-structural, among others), which in the research process are an important part for the understanding, explanation and interpretation of the scientific problem. The objective of the research is to develop a system of scientific-methodological activities as an alternative solution to this problem in order to raise the level of professional preparation and achieve the integration, generalization and transfer of knowledge and skills acquired by students for their training as scientists.
